Yesterday, Bill, Marin, and I decided to go to a Utah Jazz preseason game. They were playing the Nuggets. It was pretty cool to be able to walk 5 minutes from their house to the arena. After the game, we used these orange flags supplied to cross a sidewalk at night. I felt like a loser... but a SAFE loser.
This morning we went to the Miller Bird Refuge, which was more like a refuge from birds rather than for them. We left after about 45 minutes, and tried to find the Mehraban Wetland Trail. We got lost at a golf course, but found a WESTERN SCRUB JAY playing in someone's yard. We eventually found the wetland, where Marin noticed a small bird with a long bill. She had found me a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD displaying his nice red behind.
After we left there, we did some batting practice in preparation for tonight's softball game. Put me in coach...
